Dig and Survive Co-op with Friends

Online 20-player co-op, not split-screen: join the same server, split jobs, and stop rolling classes at dusk.

Co-op with Friends

The Roblox listing for Dig and Survive says it is best played with friends. Believe the line. The game is online co-op on servers that hold up to 20 players. It is not local split-screen. A second person on the same couch needs a second client. This page is how a lobby behaves like a mining town instead of twenty tourists sharing a thumbnail. Play the official experience so badges and group rewards actually track.

If you have not survived night one on purpose, pair this with Getting Started. Co-op does not replace the day/night split. It is how you staff that split. Day is still scrap into Cash. Night is still the defense exam. Friends only help if they show up for the same clock.

Online, 20 players, and what Bigger Lobby actually buys

Online means you join through Roblox, not through a couch split. Public servers already cap at 20. Bigger Lobby is a gamepass for seats, not a private-server requirement and not a win condition. Buying it does not create a friends-only world by itself, does not skip the undead, and does not assign jobs. Rank it with Bag Boost, Sprint Boost, Double Gems, Free Revive Every Run, Starter Cash ($500), and Permanent Drill on the tools list. This wiki does not invent extra passes.

A 20-player public town can still be a good run if people call roles. It can also be noise: randoms dropping at dusk, one player kiting a farther-out threat into spawn, five people sitting in a class menu. Friend groups win because they can agree to stay for the next morning, not because the engine secretly prefers voice chat.

PC, mobile, tablet, and console can share a server. Binds do not. If a teammate cannot interact with the pawn shop or the generator, send them to HUD and controls before you blame the objective.

How to land on the same server

Roblox friends is the boring, working method.

  1. Add each other on Roblox.
  2. One person joins Dig and Survive from the real place ID (135934838063729).
  3. Everyone else joins that friend from the Roblox friends/server UI, not from a random search thumbnail.
  4. Confirm the town looks like the same isolated mining town, not a copycat digging title.

If the join lands you in a different instance, leave and join the host again. Do not redeem DigSocial on the wrong experience and then report it dead. The only confirmed code is DigSocial for 20 Lucky Tickets, claimed with Codes bottom-right, Enter Code, Claim. The live list sits on the codes hub.

Need more people than your friends list? Use the B.L.O.X INTERACTIVE Discord looking-for-group channels the same way you would any Roblox LFG: place link, platform, and whether you are hunting a night hold, a generator feed, or a long run. The Discord and community page is the URL map. There is no official Trello to scrape for party codes.

Join the im diggin it group (owned by B.L.O.X INTERACTIVE) for the listed group rewards. Those rewards are not a second DigSocial and not a fourth class door. Claim them in the official place, then go back to scrap.

Split scrap, generator, and door

Name three jobs. Repeat them every afternoon. The loadout planner is the short card; the run checklist is the dusk list.

Scrap. Daylight miners fill bags, protect slots, and pawn extras. Someone should still be converting junk while someone else is already walking home. Stagger pawn trips so the whole 20-player town is not parked in a shop menu. Bag Boost (+4 slots) and Permanent Drill help this job; they do not play it for you. Sprint Boost is 25% faster during the day — extra trips, not extra night speed.

Generator. Feeding Cheesy Bread awards Yummers. Assign a bread runner who leaves a bag slot on purpose and does not start a far mine as their first action. Details live on the generator guide. Pawning the last bread in a hungry town is scrap greed wearing a co-op costume.

Door. After sundown, someone holds the town you prepared. That person is not in a hole. That person is not kiting a farther-out boss down main street. Distance from town is the difficulty slider. Public randoms did not queue for your inward pull.

You do not need twenty specialists. You need coverage. A four-friend stack inside a 20-player server can still carry the jobs if the four people talk and the other sixteen are treated as weather, not as a plan.

Premium, tickets, and the dusk menu problem

Classes come from Roblox Premium starter, Lucky Tickets, or Gems. This wiki does not invent class names. Read how classes work and the class acquisition tier list before a group roll. A lobby of five people tapping in a menu while the sun dies is a wipe you scheduled yourselves.

Practical etiquette:

  • One or two people roll while others pawn and watch the clock.
  • Premium members check whether the starter already fired before spending the DigSocial stack.
  • Tickets first, Gems second, never both on the same uninformed click.
  • Tell chat whether you are trying to cover daylight income or the night hold.
  • Do not demand teammates buy Gems or Bigger Lobby to “match” you.

A class is a multiplier on a loop the town already understands. It does not feed the generator, does not grant badges, and does not replace Day 50 logistics. Free Revive Every Run is one safety net, not an AFK license for the person who was supposed to hold the door.

What co-op is not

It is not a script. Auto dig, kill aura, and inf-item tools on a shared server are grief. The auto-farm notes explain the ban risk and why this wiki will not host payloads. Legal farms are Permanent Drill, Bag Boost, Sprint Boost, and people who come home before dark.

It is not a 3000-kill party for Still Standing unless the group agreed to a volume night. It is not an ending skip. What Comes Next? and Helping Hand still want a town that works after many nights. Official URLs sit on the links hub. After a patch, re-read updates before you rewrite the friend stack’s jobs.

A friend-group order of operations

Morning: who is mining, who is selling, who is watching bag slots. Midday: bread runner if Cheesy Bread exists. Afternoon: no new distance unless the bag, the revive, and the caller agree. Dusk: class menus closed, Codes closed, door named. Night: hold, revive on purpose, do not farm a kite into spawn. If the night was ugly, the next day is a funding day, not a pride walk farther from town.

That is the whole co-op skill. Join the same server. Split the three jobs. Spend tickets when the sky allows. Bigger Lobby is extra chairs. Friends are the people who still mine in the morning.

Does Bigger Lobby make a private server?

No. Bigger Lobby is a gamepass for extra seats, not a private-server requirement. Rank it with the other real passes on the tools list.

How do friends join the same Dig and Survive server?

Add each other on Roblox, have one person join the official place, then join that friend from the Roblox UI. Confirm place ID 135934838063729. Discord LFG steps sit on community links.

How should we split jobs in a 20-player town?

Name scrap, generator/bread, and door. Stagger pawn trips, feed Cheesy Bread on purpose, and stop mining after the cutoff. Use the loadout planner as the short board.

When should the lobby spend Lucky Tickets or Gems?

Not at dusk. Check Premium starter first, redeem DigSocial in daylight, then roll one or two at a time. Acquisition methods are on classes and class tiers.
