Dig and Survive Endings and Quest Lines
Story paths exist. We will not invent their titles. Play with friends, finish quests, then complete an ending.
Dig and Survive is not only a pawn-shop loop. The listing asks you to defeat enemies, dig for scrap, and uncover what is going on. That last verb is the story path. This wiki will talk about endings as a real objective without inventing their titles, branching charts, or cinematic names. If a video slaps a proper noun on a door, treat it as unverified until the B.L.O.X INTERACTIVE Discord or the im diggin it group restates it. There is no official Trello to copy from.
Two badges mark the path:
- Helping Hand — Complete a Quest Line.
- What Comes Next? — Complete a Ending.
They are not the same pop. A quest line is work along the way. An ending is a finish. You can help and still never see the ending badge. You should not expect What Comes Next? to fire because you fed the generator or because you hit Day 10 with a full bag.
What we will not invent
No ending titles. No “true ending” versus “bad ending” labels this wiki has not verified. No class-name gates. Classes are acquired through Roblox Premium starter, Lucky Tickets, or Gems; we rank those doors on the class overview and the class acquisition tier list, not as fictional keys to a named finale.
No extra codes. DigSocial remains the only confirmed string (20 Lucky Tickets), redeemed Codes bottom-right, Enter Code, Claim. Tickets might change how you fight a night. They do not complete a story path. Live list: codes hub. Clicks: how to redeem.
No scripted skip. An inf-item tool that claims every ending is a ban risk and a lie. See auto-farm scripts and the parent scripts hub. Play the official experience so badges can track.
Quest lines first: Helping Hand
Helping Hand is the badge that tells you the town has more jobs than mining. Treat quest givers like the generator: a shared objective, not vendor trash. If a line asks you to carry an item, leave a bag slot. The same discipline as how to dig scrap applies. Pawn extras. Keep the quest item. Do not auto-sell because the shop is closer than the NPC.
Co-op assignment matters. On a 20-player online server, twenty people grabbing the same step will stall the line. Name a quest runner the same way you name a bread runner for Cheesy Bread. Everyone else funds the night so the runner does not die on the walk. Yummers can sit on the same day as a quest step; it is still a separate badge. First Steps is only the tutorial. None of these replace What Comes Next?.
If interact is unreliable, you will fail quest turn-ins and think the line is bugged. Fix the HUD on controls. Roblox defaults differ by PC, mobile, tablet, and console. Follow in-game prompts instead of a streamer’s overlay.
Completing an ending: What Comes Next?
An ending is a finish condition, not a loot crate. Prepare for it like a long hold, not like a screenshot hunt.
Stay funded. Story paths still eat nights. If Cash dries up, you will wipe on a porch while the objective waits. Daylight remains a scrap shift. Night remains the exam. That rhythm is written at length on Day 50 because Survivor is the badge for lasting; endings are the badge for finishing a path while you last.
Stay in town when the path is in town. Distance from town is how new threats and bosses appear. Do not wander farther “for lore” with a full scrap bag and no med kit. If a quest step sends you out, treat it as an expedition: pawn first, kit first, Free Revive owners known, abort road clear. Do not kite that fight into spawn.
Stay with friends. Best played with friends is the listing’s advice for a reason. Endings in a 20-player public lobby fail when one person starts the finish and nineteen people are still in a hole. Call the attempt. Hold the porch. Revive on purpose. Free Revive Every Run is one net; do not spend it on a daylight side path the group did not agree to. Bag Boost, Sprint Boost (daylight 25% faster), and Permanent Drill are economy tools ranked on the tools list. They help you arrive at the ending still solvent. They are not the ending.
Starter Cash ($500) will be gone by the time a story finish is realistic. Double Gems does not complete a quest. Bigger Lobby only adds more people who can miss the call.
How endings sit next to other badges
Keep the badges list open so the names do not collapse into one grind:
- First Steps — tutorial.
- Yummers — Cheesy Bread in the generator.
- Helping Hand — a quest line.
- What Comes Next? — an ending.
- Survivor — Day 50.
- Still Standing — 3000 zombie kills.
You can finish an ending without Day 50. You can hit Day 50 without an ending. You should not use a kill-count farm as a story plan. You should not skip Helping Hand and then wonder why the ending badge is silent if the path required a line of quests first. This wiki will not fake the dependency order beyond what the badge text says. Play the quests. Then push the finish. If a patch swaps that order, Discord is the source, not a year-old thumbnail.
Patches, rumors, and where to look
Story flags change in live Roblox games. After any update, check:
- B.L.O.X INTERACTIVE Discord
- The im diggin it group (members also get listed free rewards)
- This wiki’s updates hub and September 2026 log
- The links hub for official URLs
If a creator publishes a titled ending this page does not use, wait. We would rather be incomplete than wrong. When a name is durable, it can earn a row. Until then, the honest guide is: quest lines exist, endings exist, both are badged, and the town still has to eat.
A finish-night checklist
- Tutorial done; HUD works; DigSocial claimed or already claimed.
- Class door chosen on purpose (Premium, tickets, or Gems), not mid-cutscene panic.
- Quest line progress actually complete if Helping Hand has not popped; do not assume.
- Generator fed if bread is in bags. Town upkeep before a finish attempt.
- Extras pawned; med kits in the bag; sun high enough to start, or you wait until tomorrow.
- Friends on the official place, not a copycat.
- Caller named. No farther-out side fight. No kill-count detour.
Use Getting Started if the first hour is still messy. Use the run checklist at dusk. Use the players hub and tier list hub when the question is loadout rather than story. Endings are what a funded, fed, friendly town does after it learns the loop. Uncover what is going on. Do not invent a title for it until the developers do.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Dig and Survive on Roblox.
What is the What Comes Next? badge?
It is awarded for completing an ending. This wiki does not invent ending titles. Related badges are listed on the badges list.
How is Helping Hand different from an ending?
Helping Hand is for completing a quest line. What Comes Next? is for completing an ending. Do the line of work; do not assume one badge pops the other.
Should I hunt endings solo?
The game is online co-op on 20-player servers and is best played with friends. Call the attempt so the porch is held. There is no local split-screen.
Do I need Day 50 before an ending?
Where do ending names get confirmed?
Discord and the group, then this wiki's updates. There is no official Trello. We will not reprint rumor titles.
